Your application
stays private.

Last updated July 13, 2026. This note applies specifically to the Notchy beta application.

What is collected

The form stores the name, email, role, Mac information, selected interests, written response, optional LinkedIn or website URL, referral source, and submission time that you provide. It deliberately does not store your IP address.

Why it is used

The information is used only to evaluate beta applications, select a useful mix of testers, contact accepted testers, and send beta-related updates. It is not sold, used for advertising, or added to an unrelated marketing list.

Where it is kept

Applications are written to a private file outside the public website directory on Notchy’s IONOS hosting account. They are not visible from the website. Access is limited to the Notchy owner.

Retention and deletion

Applications are deleted when they are no longer needed for the beta program and no later than 12 months after submission. An applicant may request early deletion through the private contact route used in their acceptance email. Until a dedicated support inbox is published, do not place personal information in a public GitHub issue.

Broader app privacy

The application itself has no analytics or advertising SDK. Read the complete Notchy privacy notice.
